A crepe paper flower workshop will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, in the Diamond Bar Center.

This fun new workshop is open to ages 16 and older. It will teach the fundamentals of transforming colorful crepe paper into life-like tulips.

A fee of $32 is due at registration time and $10 payable to the instructor at the workshop to cover materials. Students must bring their own glue gun and craft scissors.

Teen dance set

Sixth, seventh and eighth graders living in Diamond Bar are invited to attend at special dance on Friday, May 13, from 7 to 10 p.m.

The dance is hosted by the DB 4Youth group. Photos, glow sticks and snacks will be available for purchase.

Event fliers with mandatory parent permission forms are available at the Diamond Bar Center, City Hall and Diamond Bar middle school offices.
